Open Water Scuba Classes

Get Open Water Certified through PADI

• Are you ready to REALLY explore the underwater world? Come join us in July and August for our open water certification class! We have two available classes this summer: July 5,6,12,13 from 8 am to 12 pm AND August 2,3,9,10 from 8 am to 12 pm. We will do two pool sessions and the second week is actually scuba diving! Your checkout dive will be over a Great Lakes shipwreck.
• 8 person maximum and 4 person minimum for each class offering.
• You can confidently carry your certification around the world to explore the depths.
• Ages 10-14 are eligible for Junior Open Water (they cannot go as deep, but can still do the course along with everyone else).
• Cost is $545 per diver PLUS the open water diver course from PADI. Divers MUST complete at least half of the course before the first class date.
• Fees include all rental gear for the duration of the course and professional guidance on purchasing your own gear to continue the fun!
• THE MEDICAL FORM MUST BE FILLED OUT AND BROUGGHT TO CLASS ON THE FIRST DAY. There are medical conditions that may exclude you from this sport.
• Liability and release forms MUST be filled out and brought to the first day of class.
• Open water statement of understanding MUST be filled out and brought to the first day of class.

Open Water Diver: A scuba diving certification or ‘Open Water Diver certification’ allows you to dive anywhere in the world. Similar to driving a car, scuba diving requires specific knowledge, skills and training. A PADI Open Water Diver certification is your passport to underwater adventure.
