Advanced swimmers interested in open water swimming in the Straits of Mackinac (alongside the Mighty Mack!) now have a “safe” way to accomplish this dream! Nautical North Family Adventures has been piloting swimmers in the Straits area since 2017. We follow alongside and help keep other vessels aware while you swim. (Freighter traffic will not be diverted, you may need to board our vessel to allow them passage). Give us a call to set up a date to swim the Straits.

A professionally narrated trip through the Cheboygan Lock and Dam system, along the Cheboygan River, and out where our river meets Lake Huron. This trip is built for those that would love to be on a boat and experience the history of our waterways but would rather steer clear of the "Big Lakes". We set sail from homeport, navigate through the lock and dam system, and then head out under our historic State Street Bridge. We sail to the break wall and glimpse beautiful Lake Huron before heading back to home port.
