Maria has graduated from Northern Michigan University and has taken a position with a local accounting firm. She is still an integral part of the company, as team manager!

Lifelong resident of northern Michigan, except for a 5 year stint with the US Navy. I was stationed in South Carolina, Washington State, Florida, And Cuba. After getting out I started my career in law enforcement and continued that until 2019. I received my first recreational diving certification in 2002 and I have taken multiple classes since then. I decided in 2019 to take my diving to the next level and go to commercial dive school in SC at the International Diving Institute. After graduation I was hired on with a large global marine construction company where I was able to work on some extreme projects and test some custom dive equipment. I am really looking forward to diving with everyone and building those dive relationships for years to come. CHEERS!

Lisa grew up boating on the Great Lakes spending every summer looking for new adventures. With years of experience, and a USCG captain’s license, being on the water has always been a passion. You will find Lisa sharing that passion with others on her own boat and with all of you aboard Nautical North Family Adventures. Her love of the water also translates into a mission that includes providing online and in-person instruction for all boaters, specifically women.

One of the founders of this company, Caleb is moving on this spring to NASCAR tech to fulfill his dream of building fast engines. He anticipates owning his own company after some experience, and has talked of moving to Japan for a short while.

The youngest mate, and co-founder of Nautical North Family Adventures can be found in the shop, greeting you and checking you in. In the off season, Xavier will be a senior in high school and loves to try new sports and video games!

Mark, often likened to a fish due to his love for water activities, grew up on Detroit’s east side and spent countless summers on the Great Lakes and many of our state’s inland waters. For over 30 years, he’s lived on a lake in Oakland County, MI, engaging in various watersports like competitive slalom skiing, barefoot waterskiing, and scuba diving. He also enjoys teaching these sports to all ages— in fact, his kids started waterskiing at just 2! After a career in IT, Mark earned a 50-Ton Master Captain's license and started work as a Captain at another local dive Charter operation. He also holds PADI Advance Open Water (AOW) and Self-Reliant diving certifications with plans to continue growing his skills.

Mark is thrilled to join the Nautical North Family and eager to share his passion for the water and what lies beneath, while ensuring everyone on board has a safe and exciting experience. When aboard, don’t forget to ask him about his favorite dive spots across the world.
