And no, you don't have to be “advanced” to take it – it's designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course. Improve your skills and go to new depths so you can explore more of Mackinac Straits!
Nautical North Family Adventures’ PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course gives you the perfect opportunity to gain additional diving experience and confidence. This is a great way to enhance your skills and learn some new ones. After the course you will be certified to dive up to 100
feet/30 meters.

Advanced swimmers interested in open water swimming in the Straits of Mackinac (alongside the Mighty Mack!) now have a “safe” way to accomplish this dream! Nautical North Family Adventures has been piloting swimmers in the Straits area since 2017. We follow alongside and help keep other vessels aware while you swim.
